So what's your deal?
I'm John! My friends usually call me Johm though. I've lived in Charlotte since August 2022 after living in and around Philadelphia my entire life. I work a very regular office job that pays enough for me to live comfortably on my own, but I definitely don't find my life's meaning in my job. I am passionate about making music and creating stuff in general. I'm in a band here in Charlotte called Dollars, Taxes and I make music on my own as Froggy Nights as well (like the name of the website you're on right now!) I have a pet bearded dragon named Joey and she's a perfect angel and I love her well past the legally allowable affection limits. I have a tendency to ramble, but I'm trying to keep you interested so let's move on!
What do you want from me though?
I'm looking for a companion first and foremost. I want someone who would go with me to karaoke (even if you don't sing) but who would also be excited if I sent them a cool Wikipedia article I found. I am also an independent person who likes to do things alone sometimes and I value that. I would like it if you valued your own independence as well. I want someone that I can barrage with compliments whenever I feel compelled to do so, and as previously stated I am a rambler so I feel compelled to do so frequently. I want someone who will care for me deeply, but I am not looking for someone to be my mom. If you feel like you have to be my parent, there is a misunderstanding between us and we need to talk about it. Always feel free to talk to me about anything you are feeling. I don't want you to ever feel scared to talk to me about something because you think it'll make me feel bad. I believe externalizing your thoughts and feelings is very important not only in a healthy relationship, but also in maintaining a healthy mind.
