Music Happening

Hey it's me again. I know I want to write, but I don't know about what. I kinda lost the thought after playing with the cursor code for a bit. My friend Jess made the cursor and I love it so much.

The recording of the EP has slowed down a bit. But I am writing songs which is good. I'm gonna work on them after I'm done typing this. I have a newly written one, and a song I posted on instant graham a few months ago that I expanded into a song so far. I have the lyrics for a song about spring weather, but I'm having trouble putting it to music. I didn't learn my lesson about always recording musical ideas as I wrote the chorus of this new song but didn't record the melody then went to bed and entirely forgot it. This happened like 2 weeks ago and I was frustrated, but I was able to salvage the lyrics into a different melody. I'm struggling on that one here. So it'll just take a bit of work, but I deliberately stayed in tonight to work on it.

I'm playing a show tomorrow. It's not a Froggy Nights show, so I'm playing guitar and these new songs I'm writing. I'm honestly very excited to do something different than I have been doing. I can play the bones of some of the songs I've written and translated to Froggy Nights songs. I'm trying not to do any released ones, but depending on my progress tonight, I might toss a couple of existing ones I have into the pile. I have so many songs so I want to celebrate some of the lesser played ones. Also I'm excited to have new stuff to share. I love sharing. I'm gonna write all the songs I have in a notebook to help me visualize it and pick what to play. I'll need to translate them into the current tuning I use, which'll be a fun project. Gotta do it all tonight though. Maybe I'll even write a new one.

Wow I actually didn't have much to say as I expected. Might still post this just because I wrote it. It definitely did get me itching to play guitar. So I'm gonna go and do that. Thanks for reading, take care.
